Earth-Moving
Crawler dozers
The 650 Series 2 crawler dozers from Case Construction Equipment feature engines that meet Tier-2 certification and provide improved performance and emissions control. The dozers feature high-performance hydraulics for blade speed, breakout force and precise control. The 650K dozer also features a quiet, high-visibility operator’s compartment; hydrostatic PowerStat drive for maximum power through the turn; an easy-to-clean undercarriage; and tilting operators station for fast and easy service and repair. The PowerStat components are designed for the high horsepower needed to push the fullest blades, even through curves and turns. This reduces the number of passes needed to move material. The 650K delivers from 80 net hp and a net torque of 262 pounds. The blade capacity for the unit is 2.0 cubic yards, and it features 88 inches of track on the ground. Blade widths range from 98 inches to 130 inches. The blades can be adjusted to a maximum 52 degrees forward and 60 degrees reelward by removing a clip pin.

Skid-steer loader
The Volvo MC60B skid-steer loader is built with a rated operating capacity of 1,400 pounds and an operating weight of 5,624 pounds. The MC60B is designed with an isolation-mounted cab to reduce vibration and noise during operation, and operators can further increase comfort by choosing between mechanical or pilot controls. In addition, Volvo skid-steer loaders feature liquid-cooled, 16-valve Volvo engines.

Aerial Equipment
Aerial work platform
The JLG 1230ES elevating mast platform comes with a duty cycle that is up to 300-percent longer. Energy-saving electric motors on the front wheels power the 1,740- pound machine at a top speed of 3 mph. The JLG 1230ES features a 500-pound platform capacity and built-in workstation, including a tool and fastener tray and 110V AC outlet. The hydraulic powered platform can lift to its maximum height of 12 feet or fully lower in 12 seconds. Because of the machine’s narrow overall dimensions and 5-inch inside turning radius, it can negotiate narrow passages and fit into most freight elevators. The steel three-section mast lacks chains, cables or rollers, making it maintenance free. And because it has only four hydraulic connections, the chance of hydraulic fluid leaks is minimal.

Trailer-mounted boomlift
The UniLift trailer-mounted boomlift from LDC Industries features working heights up to 42 feet, battery power, 360-degree coverage and quick conversion for use as a universal crane. The power jack setup option allows for quick and easy outrigger setup. With a unit weight less than 3,000 pounds, the UniLift is capable of towing behind a pick-up truck, and can be maneuvered in and out of tight work spaces.

Self-propelled boom
The AB46 articulated self-propelled boom from Snorkel features a working height of up to 52 feet, 9 inches, an outreach of 24 feet, 7 inches, and a 5-foot, 140-degree jib. The unit offers improved maneuverability and a multi-functioning boom operation due to two separate pumps and a tight inside turning radius of 1 foot, 11.6 inches. The boom is offered as either an electric, 2-wheel-drive unit, or a diesel-powered, 4-wheel-drive unit for rough terrain work.

Power Tools
Framing nailer
DeWalt introduces the heavy-duty round head framing nailer — D51850 — and heavy-duty clipped head framing nailer — D51825 (pictured). The lightweight framing nailers are each built with a magnesium body and side guards to protect the tool from jobsite wear and tear. These units are capable of performing in high and low temperatures on the jobsite and have a nail lock out for prolonged tool life. The new aluminum magazine on each of the nailers delivers a nail capacity range from 2 to 3.5 inches, by .113-inch to .148-inch. The 8-pound nailers are designed with a large bumber and a four-bolt nose design that allows for less recoil and increased nail penetration.

Boring bits
Ideal Industries introduces the Bullz-Eye self-feeding wood boring bits, which are designed for operators seeking to bore holes in wood for running pipe, tubing and conduit. The twin edges’ precision ground teeth are designed to provide up to a 50-percent wider cutting surface for improved cutting speeds and balance. The boring bits are 4 5/8-inches long with a 7/16-inch shank to accommodate ½ drill chucks.

Pumps
Electric submersible pump
Godwin Pumps introduces the Sub-Prime SlimLine GSP20SL electric submersible pump for dewatering applications. The SlimLine 7.09-inch-diameter pump with a top discharge design fits into an 8-inch caisson. Featuring a dual-voltage motor, the pump allows for convenient changeover in the field. The GSP20SL model is capable of maximum flow rates up to 140 gpm and discharge heads to 65 feet. The unit also features tandem mechanical seals for dry running.

Other Products
Tiller
The FC600 mid-tine commercial-grade tiller from American Honda replaces the popular FG500 and F501 mid-tine tillers. Product improvements include simplified operation such as an easier one-touch transport wheel that can be engaged or disengaged with one hand without the use of tools. A new front guard minimizes the potential for damage during transport, functions as an attachment point for tie-downs and acts as a convenient carry handle. A new heavy-duty fender protects the drive-belt cover and increases resistance to rocks and debris while new tine axle seal guards and updated axle seals minimize the likelihood of transmission contamination.
