Heavy Earthmoving Equipment
Wheel loaders
Caterpillar introduces three new H-Series small wheel loaders — the 924H (pictured), 928Hz and 930H — feature the Cat C6.6 engine with ACERT technology designed for responsive power and low emissions. All three loaders feature the H-Series cab and operator station, engineered for easy access and efficient operation throughout an entire shift. The 924H has net engine power of 128 hp, and both the 928Hz and 930H have net engine power of 149 hp. General-purpose bucket capacities for the loaders range from 2.2 cubic yards to 3.25 cubic yards. The H-Series replaces the G-Series loaders — 924G, 928Gz and 930G.

Trenchers
Trencher
The model J1000 from EZ-Trench has a set depth depending on the blade size. It comes equipped with a 1 ½-inch-wide by 7-inch deep carbide cutting blade. The trencher features a progressive cutting blade that is designed to cut difficult soils. The J1000 weighs 124 pounds and features a 5.5-hp Honda or 5.5-hp Briggs & Stratton engine. A dual belt drive provides reliable power transfer and cushions sudden impact.

The T-4 offers a choice of carbide-tipped shark teeth or carbide-tipped bullet teeth for digging in various soil conditions. Conversions for depths up to 12-inches deep by 4-inches wide or 18-inches deep by 3-inches wide are available. The compact design fits through narrow gates and doorways and can trench near walls and fences.

Pumps
Portable pumps
Godwin Pumps introduces a new line of portable, gasoline-powered Wet-Prime pumps and a Sub-Prime electric submersible pump. Available in dewatering, trash, plastic, pressure and diaphragm models, the Wet-Prime pumps are capable of maximum heads to 285 feet and maximum flows to 425 gpm. The pumps are designed for applications including construction dewatering, farming, landscaping and irrigation. The GSP20L Sub-Prime electric submersible pump features a compact, slimline design with convenient top discharge for maximum heads to 65 feet and maximum flows of 140 gpm.

Chippers/Shredders
Chipper attachment
The Bobcat chipper attachment is designed to eliminate tree limbs, branches and other debris quickly, safely and easily. It grinds branches and tree limbs with up to 35-hp of chipping performance and reduces branch volume 10-to-1. A standard hydraulic power feed allows the feed roller to move branches into the chipper at a consistent speed.

Shear attachment
The Tree Limb Shear attachment attaches to a Gradall boom, which gives the operator the angle to productively trim branches and limbs that extend over roadways. The low working profile of the Gradall telescoping boom also allows the operator to position the carrier and work under tree limb obstructions — something that is not possible with a conventional knuckle boom. The attachment can typically cut through large branches 8 to 10 inches in diameter.

Other Products
Utility valve system
Kubota Tractor Corp. launches a hydraulic utility valve system for its RTV900 Worksite utility and turf utility models, which features a remote valve that is conveniently located at the rear of the vehicle to allow easy hookup of a variety of heavy-duty hydraulic tools. The system has a 5-gpm pump capacity as well as a dedicated hydraulic oil cooler and reservoir to keep tools running at peak performance. These enhancements equip the RTV900 Worksite Utility and Turf Utility models to break concrete, cut lumber and brush, prune orchards, drive posts holes and perform other tough tasks. The RTV900s are powered by a 21.6-hp, three-cylinder liquid-cooled Kubota diesel engine. The unit also features a spacious cargo bed and an improved tailgate design that lets gate cables swivel to prevent bending and breaking. The 7.5-inch ground clearance, long wheelbase, wide-treaded tires and reliable four-wheel wet-disc brakes all contribute towards maximum towing capacity of 1,300 pounds.
