Material Handlers
Stock pickers
JLG Mobile Stock Pickers are available with widths ranging from 31.5 inches to 33 inches, and lengths ranging from 60 inches to 74 inches. They are designed to fit easily into most freight elevators and narrow passageways. The MSP Series features three models with platform heights of 10, 15 and 20 feet, and platform capacities ranging from 350 to 500 pounds, and total carrying capacity up to 850 pounds. Stowed heights range from 56 inches to 78 inches.

Mud buggy
Stone Construction Equipment offers the SB1600 Stone Mud Buggy, which has a 2,500-pound load capacity and a 13-hp Honda engine. Designed to move concrete, mortar, gravel, dirt and debris, the Mud Buggy features an easy-to-clean, heavy-duty polyethylene tub that is designed and contoured to control splash. The FB1000 Mud Buggy (pictured) features the versatility of three machines -- a stake bed, flat bed and extended flat bed. The stake bed configuration can carry up to 10 cubic feet with a load capacity of 2,500 pounds.

Saws
Chain saw
Shindaiwa's model 490 chain saw features a 47.9-cc displacement, a 3.5-hp engine and weighs 10.2 pounds. The 490 is equipped with a durable hand guard and inertia chain brake system for fast, positive braking, and a full anti-vibration system for reduced operator fatigue. The chain-tensioning adjustment screw is located on the side of the clutch cover for easy access. The chain saw also features die-cast crankcases, chrome-plated cylinder, and a two-ring piston design.

Walk-behind pavement saws
The SS-7060 walk-behind pavement saw from Sanders Saws features stay-level handles that stay level regardless of the saw's operating position. The saw has five lubrication points that require service at 125 hours. These lubrication points match engine oil service intervals and eliminate most daily maintenance requirements. Fueled by a 60-hp Deutz diesel engine, the SS-7060 saw has a 36-inch blade capacity and a maximum cutting depth of 15 inches. The unit weighs 1,725 pounds.

Metal cutting saws
Mi-T-M's metal cutting saws feature a cover design that collects virtually all chips and sparks. Other features include a 3,500-rpm, 6-amp motor; chip collector and blade housing; 7-inch blade diameter; 45-degree bevel angle adjustment capacity; convenient guide edge; high-strength chrome-plated steel base; soft comfort-grip handle; and guide handle.

Compaction Equipment
Vibratory plate
MBW's GP3550 vibratory plate travels at a speed of 110 feet per minute, which is 20-percent faster than the GP3000, the previous model. The new machine features a deck equipped with a full roll cage as standard equipment with provisions for an optional water tank for asphalt compaction. The base plate is self-cleaning with an open sided plate design that allows material to flow out and away from the belt/pulley assembly during operation.

Tandem-drum vibratory rollers
Case Construction Equipment announces the upgrade of its DV Series tandem-drum vibratory rollers to Tier-3 engines that deliver from 31- to 48-hp, which is up from 27- to 38-hp. The tandem-drum line features high centrifugal force, dual frequency and a hydrostatic drive that provides traction and smooth performance even on steep slopes, according to the manufacturer. The DV201, DV202 and DV204 (pictured) models range from operating weights of 5,510 to 7,720 pounds, and with drum widths from 39.4 to 51.2 inches. Drum frequency on DV rollers ranges from 3,180 to 3,720 vpm with centrifugal forces from 4,580 to 8,877 pounds.

Vibratory plate compactors
Arrow-Master introduces the P-Series vibratory plate compactors. The vibration system incorporates a full-width weight shaft and heavy-duty tapered roller bearings directly into the base. Each unit has a reversible guide handle and double-formed leading edge for improved climbing. The protective roll bar is designed to provide improved engine and component protection with a balanced attachment point at the center for lifting. The compactors feature travel rates up to 135 feet per minute and centrifugal forces ranging from 2,500 to 5,300 pounds.

Chippers/Shredders
Wood chippers
JP Carlton offers 6-inch, 9-inch, 12-inch and 18-inch wood chippers for landscape, tree maintenance and land-clearing applications. Heavy-duty construction, including a form-welded frame, Torflex axle strength and construction grade tires are standard on all models. In addition, Carlton chippers feature high-speed dynamically balanced disk rounds for maximum chipping power.

Brush chipper
The BC1000XL brush chipper from Vermeer is powered by an 85-hp diesel engine that can cut through 12-inch diameter material with improved efficiency. The unit features one of the largest feed openings in its class at 12 inches tall and 17 inches wide, reducing the need to trim material before it is fed into the chipper. It is also equipped with a large 25-gallon fuel tank for longer working sessions, gear-driven discharge-chute rotation for multiple chute positions, and dual-edged cutter knives for reduced cutter expense.

Lighting package
In addition to the standard Night-Lite Pro (pictured), Allmand now offers the Night-Lite Pro International, Night-Lite Pro Arctic Special and the Night-Lite Pro CSA Approved. The International package features two Schuko receptacles and a 6-kW, 220-volt, 50-hertz power generator to make it suitable for locations outside the United States. Also, the CSA package meets all Canadian Standards Association requirements with a VIN [what is a VIN package??] package, UL-approved luminaire and CSA-approved wiring harness. Designed for cold-weather environments, the Arctic Special package features an engine block heater, heavy-duty battery with an electric battery blanket, a remote oil drain, tubes in the tires and a CSA-approved harness.

Tractor
Kioti Tractor introduces the DK45SE HST tractor. The tractor comes equipped with hydrostatic transmission, which simplifies operation of the tractor and improves productivity. The DK45SE HST has a lifting capacity of 2,493 pounds and is designed with a three-point hitch for easy mounting of attachments or implements.

Induction transmitter
The Ridgid SeekTech ST-33Q super induction transmitter is designed to be used with Ridgid locators, which are used to trace underground pipe, cable and other metallic lines. When used in induction mode, the ST-33Q induces at 8 kHz and 33 kHz. The unit comes equipped with six preset frequencies that can be used when directly connected to the target. In addition, end users have the ability to set their own frequency providing the versatility of use with any receiver. The ST-33Q's LCD monitor displays the operating mode, battery power level and current strength. The ST-33Q operates using six D-cell batteries. A jack is provided for the optional inductive signal clamp. Two 15-foot lead wires provide ample reach when used in direct-connect mode.
