Earth-Moving
Mini-skid steer
The Boxer 530X mini-skid from Compact Power offers a 30-hp Kohler engine and a two-pump 3,000-psi, 14.5-gpm hydraulic system to drive the machine's auxiliary and propulsion systems. An integrated track system retracts from a fully extended 43.5 inches to a width of 35 inches. The variable track design allows the operator to maneuver the 530X through tight areas, such as gates and sidewalks. The 9-inch-wide tracks also provide 3.3 psi of ground pressure to reduce damage to existing lawns or landscapes.

Compact tractor loader backhoe
The Allmand TLB-325 heavy-duty compact-tractor-loader backhoe is powered by either a Kohler or a Subaru 25-hp gasoline engine. The 4,045-pound machine offers a 4,611-pound digging force as well as an 8-foot, 10-inch digging depth. Dual cylinder, 180-degree hydraulic cushioned swing allows precise work in tight areas, while joystick controls and an elevated seating position provide a large backhoe feel. Allmand's ESL backhoe design reduces friction and extends service intervals by eliminating metal-to-metal contact, retaining grease levels and keeping out debris.

Saws
Walk-behind saw
Stow Construction Equipment introduces the CS-7060 walk-behind saw, which features patented stay-level handles that remain level regardless of the saw's operating position. These handles, along with the saw's moving center of gravity, minimize operator fatigue and reduce the risk of back injury while boosting productivity. Fueled by a 60-hp Deutz diesel engine, the CS-7060 saw has a 36-inch blade capacity and a maximum cutting depth of 15 inches. The unit weighs 1,725 pounds.

Walk-behind saw
The PS4030 Series walk-behind saw from Multiquip is powered by a 31-hp Deutz diesel engine. This unit is equipped with a fully enclosed self-lubricated blade shaft assembly, requiring no greasing, which promotes accurate sawing, precise tracking and prevents premature blade wear associated with common pillow-block bearings. The 30-inch blade capacity saw also features a maintenance-free wheel drive system, automatic parking brake system, blade spindle alignment and simple maintenance requirements.

Breakers
Gas-powered breaker
Designed for small jobs or working in remote locations, the new Red Hawk gas-powered breaker from Chicago Pneumatic features quiet operation and zero set-up time for a range of applications. It delivers an impact rate of 2,600 blows per minute and weighs 50 pounds, making the breaker easy to transport around a jobsite. An assortment of 19 tools and accessories are available for the Red Hawk, giving the unit versatility for concrete breaking, asphalt cutting, digging, post driving, soil compacting and tie-tamping.

Breaker
The Hilti TE 905 breaker with active vibration reduction and a double-casing design with a metal housing is designed for operator comfort. The tool's AVR system, no-load hammering and kickback dampening device reduces stress on the tool, which translates into more productivity and less servicing for rental customers, the company says. Utilizing power input of 1,600 watts, the TE 905 has a hammering speed of 2,200 blows per minute and single impact energy of 12.5 foot pounds.

Demolition tools
Brunner & Lay manufactures a wide range of demolition tools in the United States for use with most types of heavy-duty, boom-mounted breaker machines in use worldwide. Its tools are manufactured from high-quality steel, which is then heat-treated in ultra modern pit-type furnaces to create the hardness, impact strength and durability required to face the arduous conditions found in quarrying and mining, the company says. Brunner & Lay's range of tools include points, chisels, blunts, and other specialized working ends.

Floorcare
Floor grinders
The ProGrind floor grinders from Husqvarna don't require a main service -- bearings/belt change -- until around 1,000 to 1,500 hours; service to the planetary drive sprocket around 500 hours; and service to the planetary chain ring between 500 to 1,000 hours.

The user can position the HB20 in close proximity to the stump, release the pivot pin, and swing the handlebars from side-to-side. The HB20 SideWinder is available with a 20-hp Kohler gas engine and a 19-inch cutterhead with 24 teeth. Compact and maneuverable, this handlebar unit is designed for tree services and rental businesses looking for a convenient and efficient way to grind isolated stumps in tough locations.
