Hydraulic breaker
attachments
Atlas Copco's new SB
hydraulic breaker attachment line includes the 183-pound SB 102 and the
275-pound SB 152. For use on smaller carriers in the 2,425- to
9,900-pound weight class, each SB breaker is designed with a compact,
slim-line shape to enhance operator visibility and allow easier working
in confined spaces such as inside buildings or in narrow trenches.
Delivering maximum impact rates up to 2,280 blows per minute, the new SB
breakers hit up to 50-percent faster than their predecessors.

Pavement breaker
DeWalt introduces the D25980K,
its first heavy-duty pavement breaker, which is designed to provide end
users with increased durability, performance and low vibration, and
includes a two-year free service warranty. To provide a high level of
durability, DeWalt equipped the D25980K with metal, automotive-style

Sod cutter
The Ryan Jr. sod cutter
offers balance, sturdiness and a low center of gravity along with
easy-to-adjust depth-of-cut and blade-pitch settings. The sod cutter is
available in either a 5.5-hp Honda or a 6-hp Briggs & Stratton engine,

Other Products
Double-drum compactors
The Volvo
DD-22 and DD-24 (pictured) double-drum asphalt compactors are designed
for light- and medium-duty applications. Both compactors feature
innovations that enhance overall performance. The DD-22 features a drum
width of 39 inches and an operating weight of 5,400 pounds. The DD-24
has a drum width of 47 inches and an operating weight of 5,725 pounds.
The front and rear drums on both compactors protrude beyond the frame,
making it easier to compact around obstructions without the chassis
getting in the way and giving operators a clear view of drum edges. The
DD-22 and DD-24 double-drum units are built to produce the right
combination of amplitude, centrifugal force and frequency to maximize
daily productivity. Both compactors provide the choice of automatic or
manual vibration and can operate in three modes: statically, front drum
vibration only or both drums vibrating. Two vibrating frequencies --
3,300 or 4,020 vibrations per minute -- allow the DD-22 and DD-24 to
produce smooth, dense mats with a reduced number of passes. At 4,020
vibrations per minute, these compactors have the highest frequency in
their class, according to the company.

Skid-steer concrete mixer
The Scoop-N-Mix skid-steer concrete mixer from Star Industries provides a fast
and economical way to produce small volumes of concrete. This skid-steer
attachment combines the advantages of a loader and a concrete mixer.
Using skid-steer tilt cylinders, the mixer can rotate into a
bucket-loading position to scoop up the sand and gravel, and then tilt
the mixer back to its upright position to add water and cement. The skid
steer can easily transport the concrete to the pour area.
