Earth-Moving
Compact utility loader
The Toro Dingo TX 525 wide-track compact utility loader features a 25-hp Kubota diesel engine and has a width of 40.5 inches, allowing it to work in tight places and to pass through a 42-inch gate. Lifting
Telehandler
The VersaHandler V518 from Bobcat features an 18-foot maximum lift height and a 5,500-pound lifting capacity for lifting heavier payloads higher. It is powered by a turbo-charged, liquid-cooled, 105-hp diesel engine and standard equipment includes enclosed heated and air-conditioned cabs. The V518 has three steering modes: all-wheel steer for tight turning; front-wheel-steer for road travel (top travel speed is 18 mph); and crab-steer for positioning loads from side to side.

Crane
The Grove GTK110 crane from Manitowoc features a vertical telescopic mast mounted to an upperworks that allows it to reach heights of more than 140 meters (459 feet). The GTK1100 has a 76.5-meter (251 feet) vertical tower, which is topped with a five-section 60-meter (197-foot) telescopic boom. The crane features a small footprint and is designed for applications where large loads must be lifted to tall heights or where set-up space is limited. The primary carrier of the GTK is based on standard semi-trailer and the only assist unit required is a 220-ton all-terrain crane. Four outriggers connect to the carrier, while four spreaders attach to the top of the vertical mast, which sits on the carrier.

Concrete Masonry and Saws
Masonry saw
The new CM4SB2, 4-inch dry-cut masonry saw from Hitachi Power Tools is designed with an 11.6-amp motor to cut smoothly through tile, marble granite, concrete brick and similar materials. A specially sealed armature and switch protect the tool in these conditions, allowing it to perform with durability.

Diamond blades
The new SpeedWave diamond blades from Bosch Power Tools and Accessories offer a center vibration-dampening cooling disc to cut faster and last longer. Available in 4.5-, 5-, 7-, and 9-inch diameters, the blades are designed for cutting cured and reinforced concrete, roofing, tile, brick and masonry materials.

Generators
Commercial-grade portable generators
Wacker introduces a new series of commercial-grade portable generators. The new GV portable generator series is built with the value conscious contractor or do-it-yourselfer in mind. Powered by Honda OHV engines with low oil shutdown and one-pull start for reliable performance, the four new models are available with a maximum output range from 2,500 to 6,600 watts. An automatic engine idle control reduces engine wear, noise and fuel consumption. The generators also feature a maintenance-free alternator with separate excitation winding and AVR for superior voltage regulation, the company says.

Portable generator
The WC12000HE portable generator from Winco is powered by a Honda 20-hp engine with electric start and low oil protection, with a continuous output of 10.8 kW and 12kW surge. The Conserv-R automatic idle control is designed to reduce fuel consumption and engine wear. The 15-gallon fuel tank allows for 9 hours run time at full load, or 15 hours at half load, allowing a crew to work an entire day without refueling. The control panel includes multiple receptacles with circuit breakers and an hour meter to keep track of service intervals and rental hours.

Mobile generator technology
Shindaiwa Construction Products announces a new, patented breakthrough in mobile power generation technology that allows the simultaneous use of dual voltage single phase and three-phase current. The new SimulPhase Technology allows users can have 120- and 240-volt power for lights, air conditioners and electric tools, and at the same time supply three-phase 240/480-volt power for motors driving, compressors and pumps. It will first be introduced on the new kWiet Power model DGK25C, a 20kW mobile generator powered by a quiet Isuzu diesel engine. Shindaiwa plans to incorporate its SimulPhase Technology into its entire kWiet Power lineup from 20kW to 120 kW.

The SGP-Mini heats the water with a diesel- or oil-fired Becket burner and, using an industrial-grade Legacy pump with a 7-year warranty, produces a water stream of up to 2.8 gpm. The units are powered by 6- and 7-hp Robin engines. The SGP-Mini features four 13-inch tubed pneumatic tires, an adjustable thermostat and hour meter, a 6-gallon rust-free fuel tank for hours of uninterrupted cleaning and 50 feet of color-coded, wire-braid hose rated for up to 4,500 psi.
