Breakers
Hydraulic hammer
The Arrow Hammer model 1350 from Arrow-Master is a pneumatic-tired,
mobile hydraulic hammer that operates both on and off paved surfaces. An
80-hp John Deere diesel engine provides power for the Arrow Hammer. The
standard synchromesh transmission allows the machine to be driven at
speeds up to 20 mph. During operation, the unit propels itself through a
hydraulically controlled creeper gear, providing speeds up to 63 feet
per minute. It is designed to break, cut, and score concrete, rock, and
asphalt into sizes suitable for excavation, recovery, or cracking and
seating. It also compacts and tamps backfill, with adjustable impact up
to 13,000 foot-pounds.

Hydraulic breakers
The medium range Ingersoll Rand
Tramac hydraulic breakers are designed for use on large backhoe loaders
and medium-size excavators to effectively break oversize boulders,
excavate and demolish concrete up to 6-feet thick. The breakers also
feature a patented energy recovery valve that recycles recoil energy and
adds it to the next blow. A progressive start system creates a small
niche in the material, preventing the breaker from sliding by applying
the first few blows with low energy before full power is applied.

Data tracking system
OEM Data Delivery
introduces the rental asset management system for accurately and
wirelessly tracking cranes, lifts, booms and other high-value assets.
This portable data collection technology is capable of centrally
locating all assets, putting loads and trailers under dispatch control,
identifying the disposition of assets, identifying which components are
with a particular unit, and improving staff productivity by reducing
data collection time and manual searching. This wireless technology
delivers equipment and operations data to management via email and web
reports. These include detailed information on yard and field activity
that allow managers to plan effectively, spot problems quickly and track
every cost item, from labor to repair to the use of fuel and other
consumables.

built to be a maneuverable and compact 17-inch Autoscrubber with
features designed to provide high scrubbing performance. The scrubber

Wet/dry vacuum
Bosch introduces the new
Power Broker system to its Airsweep 13-gallon wet/dry vacuum. Now users
can utilize the Power Broker system to avoid blown circuits and optimize
overall performance by allocating the available power between the vacuum
and a connected power tool, as necessary. To set the Power Broker
system, the user simply subtracts the tool's amp rating (found on the
tool data plate) from the supplying circuit's amp rating, 15 or 20 amps.
The Power Broker dial is then turned to the difference and the tool and
vacuum cleaner are ready to work.

Blowers
The 8-hp and 9-hp Optimax maximum output blowers by Little Wonder feature increased
power through a redesign of the unit's housing. The LB800 features an
8-hp Briggs Intek IC engine and the LB900 features a 9-hp Honda engine.
A patented split-opening deflector eliminates blow-back or windrowing.
The blower also features a side-discharge system, which allows the
operator to change air direction without tools.

Equipment transport
system
Up-N-Atom introduces the
Retriever and No Idle System to help heavy-equipment transporters meet
government No Idle regulations and save money while making pickups and
deliveries on rental equipment. Retriever is a truck bed that can load
and unload 30,000-pound payloads with the truck's engine off by using
the truck's air system, not hydraulics, for truck-bed power. The No Idle
System works in conjunction with the truck air system. Once the
compressor has filled the truck's tanks, it continues pumping until the
60-gallon No Idle System tank is filled to 120 psi. According to the
company, in rental equipment deliveries the No Idle System is capable of
reducing idling time by as much as 95 percent and producing
substantially lower emissions, extending engine life and maintenance
intervals on the truck's 2008 emissions system, and generating
significant fuel savings. An air-operated, curved and hinged design
reduces deck weight, creating greater payload capacity. The Retriever's
shallow loading angle -- 10.8 degrees -- allows equipment to be
driven aboard while the curved shape eliminates breakover damage.
