Skid-steer loaders
Volvo's
new B-Series skid-steer loaders offer operators a choice of traditional
hand and foot controls or pilot-operated joystick controls. The B-Series
is designed so that the hydraulics will not function and the brake is
set until the operator lowers the seat bar and presses the hydraulic
release button. The loaders feature a wide, tall opening into the
operator's area, facilitating frequent exits and entries. The loaders
also provide visibility in all directions to help operators maneuver on
the jobsite. The five models in the series range from 45.3 hp up to 80.5
hp. Operating capacities range from 1,500 pounds to 2,250 pounds.

Traction hoist
Bee Access announces the
BISOMAC210 traction hoist for suspended platforms. This sturdy and
compact traction hoist is designed with convenient carrying grips for
ease of transportation. The self-revving hoist features an
electromagnetic brake with controlled-descent feature, overspeed safety
device, hour meter, power indicator light, and overspeed and overload
warning lights.

Trailer
The Bri-Mar EH 820-10 is part
of the equipment hauler series and has a payload carrying capacity of
10,000 pounds. The EH 820-10 has a bed length of 20 feet and a width of
8 feet, 5 inches. The trailer features rubber-mounted LED lights, a
sealed wiring harness, safety chains and 6-foot ladder ramps that have a
7,000-pound capacity. The empty trailer weighs 3,660 pounds.

Chipping hammer
Chicago Pneumatic
Construction Tools introduces its new vibration-reduced CP 0017 SVR
chipping hammer. The new tool features several upgraded components for
greater wear resistance. The CP 0017 SVR replaces two previous CP
chipping hammer models that utilized a rubber vibration isolator. The
new chipping hammer features a strong steel spring vibration isolator
assembly that limits vibration levels, offering increased operator
comfort and productivity, the company says. The unit also features a
standard D-type ergonomic trigger handle. The vibration isolator
assembly is designed for easy maintenance and better durability under
stressful working conditions. Several other internal components have
also been improved for increased reliability and longer service
intervals, resulting in lower overall service costs.

Submersible pump
The new sub-prime electric submersible pump from Godwin Pumps features a compact,
slim-line design with convenient top discharge and is capable of maximum
heads to 65 feet and maximum flows of 140 gpm. Powered by a dual-voltage
motor, the pump is designed to provide easy field changeover. Capable of
fitting in caissons or casings 8 inches in diameter, the GSP20SL pump is
built for construction, mining and industrial dewatering applications.

Diamond grinder
The Blastrac BMG-2500MKII
plug-style diamond grinder now offers an improved dust control system
and a line of beveled segment diamond plugs that are designed to reduce
vibration when grinding and reduce scratch marks from concrete when
polishing. The dual-head concrete grinding and polishing machine cleans,
planes, removes coatings and polishes.

Portable lighting
The Allmand Port-A-Lite 1250W2
metal halide light stand provides portable, high-intensity lighting for
a variety of applications. The durable PAL 1250W2 light stand features
the company's super-high output (SHO) fixture. Allmand's SHO parallel
lamp fixtures are at least 33-percent more efficient than other fixtures
and provide up to 50-percent more light output, the company says. The
parallel design holds the lamp in the optimum horizontal burning
position and insulated lamp tip supports isolate the lamp from
vibration. The single-fixture light stand features a smooth, rounded
two-wheel base and a telescoping tower that extends to a height of 10
feet. A welded-steel frame combined with heavy-duty ball-bearing wheels
increase the unit's durability. The Port-A-Lite products are designed to
boost worker productivity and safety in concrete finishing, paving,
masonry, roofing, excavation, mining, demolition and other applications.

Portable compressor
The K-Series gas-powered wheeled-portable compressors from Jenny Products feature the "K"
pump, a heavy-duty, single-phase cast-iron compressor pump. Four models
within the series boast 5.5-hp Honda GX engines. Operating on either a
recoil or electric start, the K-Series single-stage compressors deliver
8.9 cfm at 100 psi or 8.6 cfm at 125 psi for quick recovery. The
compressors are available in four tank configurations: 8- and 15-gallon
tanks, which are low-profile, powder-coated twin tank receivers; and 17-
and 30-gallon tanks, which are powder coated and ASME certified. Lifting
handles integrated into opposite ends of the compressors' frames ensure
the power gets where it is needed on the jobsite, and pneumatic tires
further enhance the K-Series' portability. The 17- and 30-gallon tanks
come standard with two tires, while the 8- and 15-gallon tanks offer the
option of one or two tires.In addition to standard features of an
enclosed heavy-duty belt guard, anti-vibration feet and a large canister
intake filter, the K-Series single-stage compressor also comes with an
optional oil-sight glass lubricator and air-line filter. Other engine
and pressure options are available upon request.

Impact driver and wrench
Hitachi Power Tools
introduces the WH18DL impact driver (pictured) and the WR18DL impact
wrench, the newest additions to the 18-volt lithium ion cordless line.
Powered by HXP batteries from Hitachi, the Lithium Ion technology
generates three times the battery life of standard NiCd batteries, the
company says. The WH18DL cordless impact driver offers 1,330 inch-pounds
of torque, while the WR18DL impact wrench produces 1,950 inch-pounds of
turning and tightening torque. Both driver and wrench feature Hitachi's
two-step speed switch that gives the user the ability to select Power
Mode (up to 2,600 rpm) for full-speed applications or Save Mode (up to
2,000 rpm).

Edger
The Turf Teq power edger
creates new landscaping beds, and redefines existing beds and trenches.
All three of the functions can be performed by changing the blade and
guard for each application. The edger features a 13-hp Honda engine and
a hydrostatic transmission. The design also accepts a rotary broom and
power rake attachment. The 16-inch diameter blade cuts up to 5 inches
deep.
