Rubber-track loader
ASV introduces the SR-80 rubber
track loader, which features an exclusive, independent and
multi-suspension undercarriage. The SR-80 features 2.84-psi ground
pressure, 20-inch-wide tracks and 15 inches of ground clearance. The
track loader is powered by a turbocharged Perkins diesel engine and is
rated at 80.5 hp. It has a tipping load of 6,200 pounds and is rated
with a 3,100-pound operating capacity. Tracks on the SR-80 are driven by
two-speed drive motors, capable of travel speeds as high as 12.5 mph in
the high-speed range and as high as 7 mph in the low-speed range.

Mini-skid steer
Compact Power introduces
the newly redesigned Boxer 526DX. The track-driven 526DX diesel unit is
an update of the Boxer TD-327 model. It is designed for the landscaping,
rental and construction markets. The 526DX mini skid offers an
integrated track system that retracts from a fully extended 43.5 inches
to a width of 35 inches and is controlled by a joystick lever on the
control panel. The variable track design makes it simple for the
operator to maneuver through tight areas, such as gates and sidewalks
with ease, then extend back to full width for increased stability while
in operation.

Lifting
Lift truck
The JCB Teletruk is a
2-wheel-drive hydrostatic lift truck that uses a telescopic boom --
not a vertical mast -- delivering a load capacity of 7,000 pounds. The
Teletruk combines the small size and tight turning radius of an
industrial counterbalanced forklift with the boom of a rough-terrain
telescopic handler. The result is a machine that works in a variety of
markets and is particularly beneficial for use in areas with unfinished
yard surfaces and gradients.
"The key is pure versatility," says Stephen Wright, general manager for
JCB Industrial Teletruks. "The Teletruk is capable of doing the job of
three machines. It could replace a standard lift truck; it could replace
a skid-steer loader; it could even replace a small wheel loader shovel."

Telescoping boom
The Snorkel UNO41
articulated telescoping boom has a horizontal reach of 23 feet, 7
inches. Standard features include 4-wheel drive, rheostat control for
boom movement, zero tail swing with booms elevated and 150-degree
platform rotation. It also offers automatic braking and is driveable at
full height.

For Contractors
Drying system
Designed to shorten drying time, the Dryvex MC5200 drying system
from Ground Heaters restores
flooded structures quickly and efficiently with new Dryvection
technology. The technology is a convection-based drying system that
utilizes heat and air movement by using outside air rather than recycled
air to dry flooded buildings and their contents in all types of weather
conditions. The outside air is conditioned to a low relative humidity
and blown into the building through flex ductwork. As the fresh, dry air
circulates throughout the building, it absorbs large quantities of
moisture.
"The convection system will help dry out wet structure in 48 to 72
hours, thus reducing secondary damage from mold and bacteria," says Ken
Cannella, product development director for Ground Heaters.

Vibratory asphalt roller
Sakai's SW320
47-inch-wide double-drum vibratory asphalt roller offers high frequency
4,000 vpm vibration speed, which allows the operator a choice of
cranking up the ground speed while maintaining the customary 10 to 12
impacts per foot spacing. Dual-drum drive ensures traction and
elimination of bow wave buildup in front of the drums. The company's
patented isolator system at each drum and the operator's platform
minimize operator and component fatigue. A high 21 1/2-inch curb
clearance promotes a wide range of applications.

Nailers
Porta-Nails' new
Portamatic Hammerhead TL and S nailers are designed for users who need
speed and dependability. The TL Model 470 is a hammer-actuated pneumatic
nailer, designed for nailing 1/2-inch and ¾-inch tongue and groove
wood flooring. The TL Model 470 offers a magazine that can hold up to
150 nails and can accommodate either T or L Porta-Nails, which come in a
variety of lengths to accommodate specific application needs. The S
Model 472 is a hammer-actuated stapler that fires a 15-gauge 1/2-crown
staple. The stapler holds up to 150 staples and is designed for nailing
1/2-inch and ¾-inch tongue and groove wood flooring. Both models
will seat nails at 75 to 90 psi.

Aerator
The SourceOne Plugr Tow Pro
high-capacity turf aerator is designed to cover a 45-inch swath in a
single pass and its tongue connector design allows full-speed
maneuverability on large, heavily landscaped properties, with capacity
up to 84,000 square feet per hour and an operating speed of
approximately 4 mph. The pivoting tongue offsets 15 degrees in either
direction with a quick pull of the lock pin. The Tow Pro is a
self-contained, reciprocating aerator attachment that can be operated
behind riding mowers, four wheelers or other small utility vehicles.
