Compact track loaders
The John Deere CT 322 and CT 332 set a new benchmark for compact track loaders. These machines deliver stability, visibility, serviceability, smoothness of ride, flotation and tractive efforts. Material handler
Stone's Lift Jockey LJ100 has a load capacity of 1,500 pounds and moves and lifts pallets, blocks, packaged material, and landscape trees and shrubs. The LJ100 features three interchangeable heavy-duty masts that lift loads to heights of 7 feet, 6 inches; 8 feet, 6 inches; or 9 feet, 6 inches. The masts have an innovative hydraulic design to control flow and pressure, allowing for smooth and stable lifting and lowering of loads. The masts have a tilt system that tilts several degrees both forward and back to facilitate easy pickup and discharge of loads.

Cut-off saws
Wacker's new BTS-L3 series of portable cut-off saws offer performance and economic efficiency because of a unique piston, innovative air filter and improved cooling. The new cut-off saws feature the "Long Life Lubrication" or "L3" piston. This piston is furnished with a special graphite surface coating to eliminate piston and cylinder overheating even during tough continuous operations. Four models are available and offer the highest power-to-weight ratio in their class as well as provide other outstanding ergonomic features.

Chainsaw parts

Rock drill
Atlas Copco's LHD 23 M hydraulic rock drill is designed for drilling blast, anchor and rock-splitting holes. Lightweight and portable, the drill is used by construction and utility contractors, public service departments and military engineers to provide efficient drilling without the need for large compressors. At a weight of 54 pounds, the LHD 23 M is maneuverable and provides a high power-to-weight ratio for maximum productivity. A hydraulic motor built into the drill produces 48 foot-pounds of torque, which is needed for drilling with spiral hammer drills and when drilling into segmented rocks or reinforced concrete.

Street sweeper
Allianz Sweeper's 4000 model street sweeper features a 240-hp Cummins turbocharged diesel engine. The sweeper is capable of sweeping at speeds as low as 1/4 mph and transit speeds in excess of 55 mph. The front and center mounted cab gives the operator a full panoramic field of vision, and air conditioning comes standard.

CASE IH Tours with Ferrari
This fall, the Case IH brand will be displayed on a pair of the world's most powerful and exotic automobiles as they traverse the Western Hemisphere. It's all part of the Ferrari Panamerican 20,000 -- an epic journey that takes two new Ferraris through 16 countries and across 20,000 miles during a 15-stage, 84-day tour.

As co-sponsor of the tour, Case IH will hold dealer, customer, media and employee events that emphasize its parallels with Ferrari -- world-class technology, power, performance, and of course, a preference for red paint.

The Ferrari Panamerican 20,000 began August 24, when two of Ferrari's recently launched 12-cylinder model, the 599 GTB Fiorano, took off on a grueling journey from Brazil to New York. The challenging route spans mountain roads in the Andes and dirt tracks in Central America as well as U.S. interstates and Canadian highways. The tour is scheduled to end in New York City on November 17.

Tour stops include Case IH manufacturing facilities in Curitiba, Brazil and Racine, Wis.

"Case IH is proud to be a part of the Ferrari Panamerican tour, so we can showcase the power of Ferrari side-by-side with the power of Case IH," says Mario Ferla, president, Case IH. With a 620-horsepower, V12 5999-cc engine, the 599 GTB Fiorano is the most powerful production model ever built at Ferrari's Maranello, Italy, plant.

"It's quite amazing to consider that the largest Case IH tractor -- the Steiger STX530 -- uses 584 horsepower when operating at peak power, just a bit less than Ferrari's top performer," Ferla notes. "But at 54,000 pounds compared to the Fiorano's 3,684 pounds, the Steiger is almost 15 times heavier. Case IH tractors are designed work all day in the field under constant load, transferring their power to ground-engaging implements, while the Ferrari harnesses its power for speed."
