    Skid-steer loaders
Volvo launches its B-Series skid-steer loader line with five models: MC60B (pictured), MC70B, MC80B, MC90B and the MC110B. Operating capacities range from 1,350 pounds to 2,250 pounds and engine power from 45 net hp to 81 net hp. The B-Series offers the operator a choice of popular foot and hand mechanical controls or the comfort and efficiency of hand-operated hydraulic pilot controls. A new seat bar provides an ergonomic armrest and control lever positions fall naturally to hand, creating improved efficiency and reducing fatigue.

    For Contractors
    Grinder
With a 1.5-hp air motor that delivers a no-load operating speed of 12,000 rpm, and a 5/8-inch to 11-inch threaded spindle, the MP-2511 grinder from Michigan Pneumatic Tool is built for heavy-duty applications. Light and sturdy for effective metal removal, it is best suited for cleaning castings, removing fins and grinding welds. A built-in lubricator and automatic governor provide lifelong dependability.

    Hand tools
Kent Demolition's Redline Series of pneumatic hand tools includes breakers, rivet busters, clay diggers, trenchers, chippers, tampers, sump pumps and rock drills. The tools feature drop-forged construction and four-bolt, ergonomically designed handles for operator comfort and rigid connection to the cylinder. Teflon/graphite packing provides cooler operation, seals out dirt and needs no adjustment. The rock drills feature swivel air inlets, four-pawl construction for positive rotation and automatic oilers.

    Trencher
Ground Hog's T-4 operator-propelled chain-type trencher is designed to dig up to a 12-inch deep by 3-inch wide trench. For digging in all soil conditions, operators have a choice of carbide-tipped shark or bullet teeth. Conversions for depths up to 12 inches by 4 inches wide or 18 inches deep by 3 inches wide are also available. The T-4's user friendly, compact design fits through narrow gates and doorways and easily trenches near walls and fences. Its heavy-gauge steel construction, tapered roller bearings and double-row ball bearings ensure less maintenance.

    Roller levels
The Worksite Pro RL66 and RL84 roller levels from John Deere are designed to make grading, leveling and contouring easy for skid-steer operators. The attachments are a patented box blade with roller level that can do landscape and site preparatory work without hydraulics. Because the roller level has no hydraulic motors, uptime is maximized. Two greaseable bearings and two replaceable cutting edges also enhance uptime. The roller levels do not disturb the sub soil, which is key to leaving the sub soil compacted for asphalt and concrete jobs.

    Engines
Yanmar's TNV series liquid-cooled diesel engines are designed for use in construction machinery, generators and pumps. The new series consists of the smaller indirect-injection 2TNV70 and 3TNV70/76 with rated horsepower of 14.3, 21.9 and 25.0 respectively. Improvements to the combustion and FIE systems result in even cleaner combustion through refined air intake design. A newly developed in-line fuel injection pump provides the same level of FIE performance as in Yanmar's direct-injection engines. A load timer adjusts injection timing in accordance with the engine load.

The SHURflo ProPack SRS-600 rechargeable backpack sprayer features a 12-volt rechargeable battery that eliminates the need for manual pumping to decrease operator fatigue and improve productivity. Carpet cleaner
The Host Dry Carpet Cleaning System is a low-moisture cleaning method that leaves carpets clean and dry immediately after use. It is safe and easy to use with no chemicals to mix. The Host system starts with the Host dry carpet cleaner, an all-natural product containing a balanced blend of moisture, detergent and a small amount of safe-to-use solvents. Host is designed to dissolve, absorb and trap greasy, oily dirt, spots and odors.

"The Host Dry Carpet Cleaning System is an alternative to the wet carpet-cleaning approach," says Geoff Greeley, Host director of marketing and training. "Its advantage is that it doesn't leave behind soap or detergent residue on the carpet, which can result in a greasy, soapy residue that can attract dirt."

For example, the 3-range variable hydro transmission provides improved traction in reverse speed. Other features include wet-disc brakes, a hydraulic bed-lift system and an improved tailgate design.
