INTEL ROCKS AT
AES

Intel, Cakewalk, HP and Gibson have teamed up to anchor the
Technology Rocks Pavilion at AES.
Cakewalk's new SONAR 5 is the first native 64-bit DAW, providing
significant performance gains when run on a 64-bit, dual-core
Intel-based platform. New worlds of possibilities will open up to studio
owners through a huge increase in RAM access (up to 128 GB). SONAR 5
presents a groundbreaking mix environment with true end-to-end 64-bit
signal path.
Gibson Guitar's Bart Walsh will be performing on Gibson Les
Pauls, and will be recorded by a Cakewalk clinician with SONAR several
times each day.
You can also see for yourself how HP's xw4300 workstation-powered
by Intel's latest dual-core 64-bit processors-provides the superior
hardware environment that makes all of these advances easily accessible
to producers, engineers and musicians.
